Cabinet Endorses Mongolia’s Accession to Asian Disaster Preparedness Center

Ulaanbaatar, December 4, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At its regular session on December 3, the Cabinet of Mongolia discussed and endorsed a draft resolution on Mongolia’s accession to the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) as a member state, submitted by Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Gankhuyag Khassuuri.
Prime Minister Zandanshatar Gombojav instructed Minister of
Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg to formally submit Mongolia’s application for
membership in the ADPC in accordance with the
relevant procedures, and assigned Deputy PM Gankhuyag to represent the country
on the organization’s Governing Board.
The ADPC aims to prevent disasters and promote a
safer society and sustainable development. Its activities focus on reducing the
impact of disasters on countries and communities across the Asia–Pacific
region.
