Ulaanbaatar City Council Approves 2026 Budget
The Citizens Representative Khural of the Capital City (Ulaanbaatar City Council) continued its irregular 8th session on December 5, 2025, adopting the city’s 2026 budget. According to the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar, the 2026 city budget anticipates total revenues of MNT 4,625.8 billion, with base revenues projected at MNT 3,495.9 billion and base expenditures at MNT 2,616.8 billion. The city will contribute MNT 263.7 billion to the state budget. Operating expenses are planned at MNT 1,517.3 billion, while MNT 2,007.4 billion is earmarked for capital investment projects and activities, and MNT 13.8 billion is planned as financial support for districts.

Two Mongolian Localities Join UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities

Portable Ultrasound and Fetal Heart Monitors Delivered to Remote Health Centers
