High-Performance Supercomputing Center to be Established in Phases
The Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia will cooperate with the United States on the "Establishing a High-Performance Supercomputing Center" Project. The Head of the Integrated Science and Technology Policy Department of the Ministry Economy and Development Dr. D. Battogtoh Dorjgotov, Advisor to the Macroeconomic Policy Department D. Ulzii-Erdene, and Vice President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Academician Avid Budeebazar visited the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee, USA. The delegates held meetings with the managers and scientists in the Biological and Environmental Systems Science Directorate and Computing and Computational Sciences Directorate, discussing cooperation in the fields of science and technology between the two countries.

Traveling or Hiking in Green Areas of Ulaanbaatar Prohibited Due to Risk of Wildfires
The use of forest resources, hiking, traveling, graduation celebrations, and making open fires in the green areas of the capital city have been prohibited under the Decree No. A/373 “On Some Measures to Prevent Forest and Steppe Fires” of the Governor of the Capital City. Specifically, travel to the green areas is prohibited from March 28 to June 10, 2025, and from September 20 to November 10, 2025.
