MIAT reassembles ТВС-2МС aircrafts

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Reassembly work of ТВС-2МС type general purpose aircraft is being conducted jointly by MIAT Mongolian Airlines and the Civil Aviation Authority and Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar, Ambassador of Russia to Mongolia I.K.Azizov and other officials got acquainted with the work process in the Aircraft maintenance department of MIATcompany on January 10.
By far, two TBC-2MC type aircrafts have been completely reassembled utilizing Russian made AN-2 type aircraft parts and engines.
The aircraft is possible to be used for agriculture, farming, extinguishing fire, spraying pesticide to prevent from insect-pest, rendering emergency service and traveling to the removed areas as well. ТВС-2МС type airplane is considered as the most suitable to Mongolia by engineers and it would allow to have accessible working force and technical staffs as well as low cost as it is reassembled utilizing АН-2 airplane.
Short-distance small aircrafts are required to Mongolia. The national airline’s capacity is strengthening, therefore it will be economically significant to reassemble this kind of aircraft and use it in agriculture and environmental protection, noted T.Batjarjal, Director of Administration Department of Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia.
