Mongolia to cooperate with Vietnam in disaster prevention

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Major-General T.Badral, Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), received Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Socialist Republic Vietnam Hoang Van Thang on July 5, who is attending the AMCDRR.
At the meeting, Head of the NEMA T.Badral and Deputy Minister Hoang Van Thang signed a memorandum of cooperation on disaster prevention field.
Within the memorandum, the two countries will cooperate in disaster prevention, disaster risk mitigation and damage reduction as well as mutual capacity-building.
Moreover, the sides will exchange experiences on preventing from earthquake and using new technique and technology, and data system.
