Over 90 disaster management instructors attend seminar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In the frameworks of the project, ‘Disaster Resistant Ulaanbaatar’, which is being implemented by the capital’s authority in partnership with World Vision Mongolia, the National Emergency Management Agency is organizing a seminar to enhance the skills of the emergency management teams in local areas. Over 90 instructors of 9 districts are attending the seminar.
During the three-day seminar, the instructors will be improving their teaching methodology alongside developing emergency protection plans for communities, companies, organizations and schools. They are also to do hands-on practice for general assessment of disaster risks as according to the guideline.
Through the disaster management instructors that are attending the seminar, citizens will be able to receive information about disasters and ways to reduce disaster risks.
