National men’s team qualifies for quarterfinals in FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The national men’s team has qualified for the quarterfinals of the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup being organized under the auspices of the Prime Minister of Mongolia.
On June 6, the national team was set to have their matches against Georgia and the US. As for their first match against Georgia, they came out victorious, making it their third win of the tournament with 18-16.
As for their last match of the group stage, they lost against the team of US with the score of 21-10. Today on June 7, they will be facing off against the team of Turkey in the elimination round at 1 pm.
