Forestry Sector Coordination Meeting held

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On December 22, the Forest Policy and
Coordination Department of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism organized
the ‘Forestry Sector Coordination Meeting’ to provide information on the
conducted and ongoing activities of forest projects and programs in 2021.
In light of the meeting, the implementing organizations of the four forestry projects shared their views effectively on improving cooperation, one of which was the ‘STREAM’ project co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The second component of the STREAM project is being
implemented by GIZ Mongolei, aiming to "Improve capacity for sustainable
landscape management of forest resources and conservation of biodiversity in
target soums".
