2024 State Great Khural Elections: Preparation for Voting from Overseas Complete

Ulaanbaatar, June 20, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The General Election Commission of Mongolia reports that preparation for voting from overseas for the Election of the State Great Khural of Mongolia is complete. The diplomatic representative offices of Mongolia also have prepared the polling stations.
During the legitimate period, a total of 13095 Mongolian
citizens living abroad are registered in the voters' list. The registration was
conducted online, and the number of registered voters abroad increased by
threefold compared to the 2012 Election for the State Great Khural of Mongolia.
Citizens of Mongolia abroad whose name is confirmed in the
voters list will cast their ballots on June 20-23, 2024, between 07:00-22:00,
local time. The voters abroad should arrive in person at the polling stations
located in residences of Embassies, General Consulates, or Consulates of
Mongolia bringing his/her citizen’s identity card of Mongolia.
Mongolian citizens living abroad will vote only for a party
or coalition.
