Mongolian Film Days Held in Busan

April 24, 2026 /MONTSAME/. To mark the 10th anniversary of the
establishment of the Consulate of Mongolia in Busan, Republic of Korea, and as
part of efforts to promote Mongolian culture and arts, the Consulate General of
Mongolia in Busan jointly organized the
“Mongolian Film Days” in collaboration with
the Hannarae Foundation of the Republic of Korea, the Busan Cinema Center, and
the Mongolian National Film Council.
During the film
event, audiences were presented with a selection of films, including director Gan-Ochir
E.’s documentary “Guardian of the Great Gobi”, Battulga S.’s “Father”, “Lily of
the Heart” featuring State Honored Worker and People’s Artist Tserendagva P., and
Distinguished Worker of Culture Altanshagai G., as well as “Mother-in-law”
starring People’s Artist Tserendarizav D.
The organizers highlighted that the third edition of the film days was notable for successfully engaging Mongolians living in the southern region of South Korea, and expressed their intention to further expand the scope of the event in the coming years.
