BoM holds FX auction
Daily FinanceUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held Tuesday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offers of USD 9.4 million in a rate between MNT 1990.00-1993.70 and bid offers of CNY 129.0 million in a rate between MNT 313.88-314.25 from local commercial banks. The BoM sold USD 5.0 million in a closing rate of MNT 1993.10 and CNY 80.5 million in a closing rate of MNT 313.88 respectively.
The BoM received MNT Swap agreement bid offer equivalent to USD 39.028 million and USD Swap agreement selling bid offer equivalent to USD 20.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offers.
