Speaker receives PM of South Korea
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The visiting Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Mr Hwang Kyo-ahn paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) MR Z.Enkhbold on December 16.
The latter wished the high guest a nice stay in Mongolia.
Mr Hwang Kyo-ahn noted his visit is coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic ties. He underlined that the E-parliament project, supported by the Korean government, is a symbol of the friendly relations of our countries.
The Speaker noted that this is the first visit of a S.Korean Premier in the last 14 years and stressed that the relations with the Republic of Korea is one of the priorities of Mongolia’s foreign policy. He also expressed a satisfaction with the comprehensive strategic partnership.
Mr Enkhbold highlighted the role of inter-parliamentary cooperation, especially the interactions between friendship groups and secretariats, in expanding the political ties.
