Monthly minimum wage to increase
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ After consistent demand by the Association of the Mongolian Trade Unions, The national committee on Labor and Community Tripartite Accord decided on April 20 to increase the monthly minimum wage by 25 percent.
In accordance, the decision will take effect on January 1, 2017, designating the minimum wage for a month to be 240,000 MNT (121 USD). The amount, 192,000 MNT, has remained unchanged since 2013.
