Over 150 folk artists perform in Hohhot

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian folk artists received a standing ovation during the Second Mongolia-China Expo held in Chinese Hohhot city on September 25-30.
On the sidelines of the expo, over 150 artists of the Mongolian Grand Theater of Folk Performing Arts, former Mongolian National Folk Song and Dance Ensemble, performed alongside Russian and Chinese artists on September 25 and staged a full concert themed ‘Exquisite Folk Arts’ on the next day to receive a standing ovation from the audience.
Directed by D.Ganbold, the concert featured prominent Mongolian folk artists including People’s Artist D.Sambuu, State Honored Artists N.Amgalan and S.Tsogtsaikhan, State Foremost Artists D.Amarjargal, Ts.Tumenjargal and D.Narankhuu whereas Folk Dance Ensemble named after People’s Artist, State Prize Laureate, choreographer Ts.Sevjid performed the best of folk Mongolian dance.
