Over 90 artists from 8 countries to compete in 'Saint Muse 14' international festival

President of 'Saint Muse' Academy, People's Artist S.Sarantuya said that "Based on survey results among artists, we decided to organize the festival once in two years. And last year we did not organize the festival. During that time, 'Saint Muse' Academy organized many activities targeted to artists. For example, last year we organized a training on 'Principles of Physical Theater' for professional, free and local artists. Next year, we will announce a two-person play contest and planning to include the qualified performances into 'Saint Muse' festival as a new category. Monodrama was introduced to the Mongolian drama and by including the two-person play to the Mongolian theatrical arts, we can participate in the international festivals with our own works."
This year's festival will be organized in Child plays, Drama, Musical theatre and Monodrama categories.
Artists and guest judges from Mongolia, Russia, Kosova, Hong Kong, Inner Mongolia, USA, Argentine and Ukraine will participate in the festival. 50 foreign and domestic plays were registered in the first stage of the festival and 26 of them were selected to compete for the trophy in the second stage. More than 90 artists of these plays are nominated to the 'Saint Muse 14' festival. The selection performance will be held on May 07-12, 2018. Red carpet ceremony and awards granting ceremony will be held on May 13, 2018 at the Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Drama.
