Military field museum established at the Remizov hill

Dornod /MONTSAME/ A military field museum was established at the Khalkh Gol soum of Dornod aimag. The ‘Yalalt’ (victory) field museum was set at the battle field, which witnesses air and artillery bombardment 80 years ago.
Experts of the museum said that massive ruins such as fighter jets, vehicles and heavy weapons are found in the territory of Khalkh Gol soum, however the findings do not fit in the museums.
The museum was established at the Remizov hill. At that place the 149 regiment led by Major I.M.Remizov won many brutal battles during the battle of Khalkhin-Gol.
