Live music bands call on youths to avoid pernicious habits

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A live music concert themed ‘Let’s Feel It Truly, Let’s Look Positively’ was jointly organized by the Youth Development Department of the Capital City and ‘Tsatsrakh Egshig’ NGO with support of Ulaanbaatar Ensemble and ‘Yesuimind’ LLC on July 30.
With aims to encourage new bands, singers and youths, to publicize their works and to create conditions to spend youth's freetime in proper and healthy environment, the concert was held within sub-program of ‘Youths of the Capital City’ of the 2016-2020 Action Plan of Capital City Governor.
A total of nine new pop, metal, alternative, punk rock bands participated in the concert and called on youths to avoid from any pernicious habits and more than 300 youths watched the concert.
S.Sukh-Ochir, Head of the Youth Development Department of the Capital City said “It is important to promote newly established bands to public and to back their artistic creations. Therefore, we organized this alcohol-free live music concert in frame of a campaign ‘Let it Shine’. In future, we plan to organize multilateral activities in direction of supporting youths who are interested in song and music.”
