Toortsog hat

Khovd /MONTSAME/. There are more than 3100 exhibits in
the museum of Khovd aimag. Among the exhibits, there are over 560 ethnic
exhibits, including more than 180 items of clothing items and jewellery. In
particular, the Khovd Aimag Museum has a Toortsog hat, decorated with more than
2,200 coral beads. The Toortsog hat was used in the 19th -20th centuries.
In 1950, it was received in the aimag museum and made
available to the public. Three types of
patterns are depicted with the corals.
