National launch of ‘RelShaping Policies for Creativity’ global report organized

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The national launch of the third edition of the ‘RelShaping Cultural Policies for Creativity’ global report was organized on World Art Day, April 15, 2022, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.


The national launch of the global report commenced with opening remarks by H.E Mr. Batbayar Munkhuu, Deputy Minister of Culture, Prof. Shahbaz Khan, Director and Representative of UNESCO Beijing Office, and Mr. Ola Johhanson, Counsellor for Cultural Affairs, The Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, China.


Throughout the meeting, distinguished representatives from civil society, small-medium enterprises in the cultural and creative sector, government and international organizations, and artists have all shared their perspectives on the current situation of Mongolia’s implementation of the UNESCO 2005 Convention for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and further ways to develop the cultural and creative industry of Mongolia.


This event was a significant stepping-stone for strengthening multilateral cultural cooperation towards sustainable development, fostering new knowledge and information sharing for stakeholders, and intensifying the implementation of the 2005 Convention.
