Minister L.Enkh-Amgalan receives Cultural Envoy Sachie MatsuozawaSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Education and Science of Mongolia L.Enkh-Amgalan on March 30 received Cultural Envoy of Mongolia Sachie Matsuozawa.
During the meeting, the Minister expressed his willingness to cooperate in the field of ethics and education for children with disabilities, asking the Cultural Envoy to invite experienced professors from Japan to cooperate in these directions. The Minister also put forth a request to involve more teachers in the capacity-building programs, while expressing gratitude for her contribution.
While emphasizing that the three most important issues in the field of education are ethics, education, and socialization of children with disabilities, and curricula and content, the Cultural Envoy expressed readiness to work together in the aforementioned fields.
Sachie Matsuozawa, who has been working as the Cultural Envoy of Mongolia since 2018, has made a valuable contribution to Mongolia’s education sector since 2011. Moreover, in 2001, she launched programs to upskill Mongolian teachers in Japan and involved more than 400 teachers.
