Law on promoting youth development drafted

The Government of Mongolia has drafted a new law on promoting youth development. It will be presented to the Parliament shortly.

According to statistical data, by the end of 2015, nearly 43 % of the total population of Mongolia was young people aged from 16 to 40.

Once the bill is passed by the legislature, the Mongolian government will implement a national program on promoting youth development.

President of Mongolia receives Japanese Ambassador

President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Shimizu Takenori  on November 30, 2016 in conjunction with the completion of his diplomatic mission in Mongolia.

He has been worked in Mongolia for five years and two months.

Mongolian hospitals work extra hours

World AIDS day is marked annually all over the world on 1st of December to raise the public awareness about HIV/AIDS with a motto “AIDS Prevention in our hands”.

On this occasion, the Red Ribbon hospital of the National Center for Communicable Diseases  and  AIDS Centers in nine districts of Ulaanbaatar are working extra hours today and tomorrow to give consultations and to conduct free tests for patients.

Mongolia and Japan to implement new project on bird flu

Mongolia will implement with the Hokkaido University a new project on bird flu. The three-year project to be carried out in the area of animal husbandry will be a big step towards preventing infectious diseases, detecting rapidly, and reducing the spread of such kind of diseases of animals.
