National Museum of Mongolia to celebrate Family Day with free admission for families

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The International Day of Families is observed on May 15 every year. On the occasion of this day, the National Museum of Mongolia will offer free admission throughout the day for anyone visiting the museum with their families.
The National Museum of Mongolia houses over 56,000 exhibits and some 30 percent of total historical, cultural and archaeological exhibition items of Mongolia are preserved in the treasury of the museum and the academic research center. It has 10 exhibition halls displaying the history of Mongolia, nomadic culture, heritage, ethnography and tradition.
Currently, a unique exhibition named 'Rock Tomb Culture' is on public view at the National Museum, unveiling archaeological findings unearthed from two different rock tombs discovered newly on the territory of Khovd aimag.
