Museum Open Days, traditionally held in the first week of March, commenced on March 7, 2025, by Directive of the Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia, due to the overlap with Mongolia’s Lunar New Year celebrations.

“Chinggis Khaan” International Exhibition to Be Displayed in Prague This March

National Museums of Mongolia and Kazakhstan Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
On February 24, 2025, Chuluun Sampildondov, Academician and Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia, and Berik Abdygaliuyl, Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a state-funded institution under the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The "Mongols Nomadic Winter Festival 2025" kicked off on February 16, 2025, at National Garden Park. The Governor’s Office of the Capital City and the Culture and Art Department of Ulaanbaatar are organizing the event to promote the nomadic lifestyle and cultural heritage to the public, particularly children and young people, encouraging winter tourism.
