Peace Corps Mongolia Country Director awarded Order of Polar Star

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On June 24, 2021 Deputy Foreign Minister Munkhjin Batsumberel presented the Order of Polar Star, the highest state honor, to Kim Mansaray, Country Director of Peace Corps Mongolia. 


The Order was awarded by former President of Mongolia Battulga Khaltmaa’s Decree to Peace Corps and its leadership including Kim Mansaray for their invaluable contribution to advance the friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the United States. 


Ever since Kim Mansaray began working as the Country Director of Peace Corps Mongolia, she has been travelling all over the country, monitoring the alignment of Volunteers activities and the needs and demands of Mongolian communities, and exerting her professionalism and vast experiences to further Volunteer efforts. 


Additionally, her dedication for improvement of staff expertise and skills has been valuable and under her outstanding leadership skills, the Peace Corps Mongolia has been expanding its partnership and cooperation with Mongolian Government agencies, local governments and other similar agencies, says Peace Corps in Mongolia. 


“Conferment of the Polar Star Order to Kim Mansaray is a clear demonstration of the Government of Mongolia’s recognition of Peace Corps’ activities and the valuable contribution made by 1500 Volunteers over the last 30 years for the betterment of Mongolian communities.”
