Ambassador O. Och meets Managing Director for Asia and Pacific at EEAS

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of
Belgium O.Och held a courtesy farewell meeting with Managing Director for Asia
and Pacific at the European External Action Service (EEAS) Gunnar
Wiegand on September 2.
During the meeting, Ambassador O.Och thanked for all-round
support and cooperation for bringing Mongolia-EU relations to a new level made
in the past. The first political dialogue between Mongolia and the European
Union held under the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement and the successful
completion of the Trade Related Assistance for Mongolia (EU TRAM) project are a
clear evidence of the effective and full implementation of this agreement, noted
Ambassador O.Och, expressing a request for further cooperation in the trade
and investment fields.
Mr. Gunnar Wiegand emphasized that Mongolia is an example in
the region with its democracy promotion, and expressed his confidence that
Mongolia and the European Union will develop their relations and cooperation
through their common democratic values that respect human rights and freedoms.
