Ten Thousand Camel Festival to take place

Umnugobi /MONTSAME/ The Ten Thousand Camel Festival will be held in Umnugobi aimag on March 5-7.
The festival to be organized for the 23rd year is one of the first tourism events in Mongolia aimed at promoting winter tourism. The event was not organized for two years due to the pandemic. Therefore, it has been decided to change the venue of the Ten Thousand Camel Festival from Bulgan soum to the aimag capital this year in a view to expand the festival’s scope, said N.Ariunsanaa, CEO of Amazing Gobi Tourism Association.
During the festival, camel polo, camel races will take place and the couple with the best camel will be awarded.
