Artists of Khuvsgul and Ulaanbaatar to make sculptures for Khuvsgul ice festival

Khuvsgul /MONTSAME/ An annual
ice festival aimed at promoting winter tourism will be organized in Khuvsgul
aimag on March 3-4.
Ice sculptures are what draws the most interest from foreign and local tourists attending the festival.
This,
year, the sculptures will be created by artists from Khuvsgul aimag and
Ulaanbaatar city. The ice art project is tentatively planned to be funded using
MNT 50-60 million. According to head of the festival organizing committee,
deputy governor of Khuvsgul aimag M.Khuyagbaatar, the funding will be increased
if the artists create impressive ice artworks.
