Premier Ch.Saikhanbileg meets WEF executive chairman

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Taking part in the Summer Davos Forum in Dalian, China, the Prime Minister of Mongolia Mr Ch.Saikhanbileg Thursday met Mr Klaus Schwab, the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

The Premier underlined that the WEF has been keeping close ties and cooperation with Mongolia, and the President of Mongolia has participated in the Davos World Economic Forum several times as a honored guest. He also emphasized an importance of the Davos WEF for drawing up specific models for the economic development of Mongolia.

The WEF executive chairman Mr Schwab pointed out that Mr Saikhanbileg has become the very first Prime Minister of Mongolia to participate in the Summer Davos which is held since 2007. He said the WEF is focusing attention to a tendency of the Mongolian economy, and then expressed thanks to Mr Saikhanbileg for taking part in the Summer Davos Forum, attaching a great importance to it.

Present at the meeting were D.Zorigt, the Minister of Energy; D.Sumyabazar MP; B.Delgermaa, an advisor to the PM; and other officials and businessmen.
