Minister of Labor and parliamentarian meet Ambassador of Japan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Labor G.Bayarsaikhan MP and L.Bold, a member of parliament Friday received Mr Takenori Shimizu, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia.

The Minister Mr Mayarsaikhan mentioned that he is receiving the delegates of Japan after receiving information from the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia about taking labor force in conjunction with upcoming the 23rd Summer Olympics to be held in Tokyo in 2020. In this regard, Mr Bayarsaikhan asked the Japan’s side to augment the number of Mongolian workers to be employed in Japan.

Moreover, Mr Bayarsaikhan underlined an importance of mutually beneficial cooperation in implementation of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPS) established between the two countries.

In response, Mr Shimizu congratulated Mr G.Bayarsaikhan on becoming the new Minister of Labor, and said the government of Japan has been implementing relevant measures to host the 2020 Olympics, in particular on importing foreign work forces. He added that Mongolians have been practicing in Japan through Japan International Training Co-operation Organization (JITCO) Programme since 1998.
