Documents on Mongolia-China cooperation signed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In frames of the state visit of the Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj to the People’s Republic of China (PRC), several documents were inked on expanding of the bilateral economic cooperation Tuesday in Beijing.

The sides have established an intergovernmental agreement on the economic and technical cooperation; an exchanging letter on projects to be implemented within non-refundable aid of CNY 300 million to be given from the government of China in 2016; a memorandum between Mongolia’s Ministry of Industry and China’s Ministry of Trade on cooperation in the economic and trade sectors; a general credit agreement between the Mongolian government and the Export-Import Bank of China. Others are special credit agreements on projects on constructing a footbridge near the Traffic Police Department (TPD) in Ulaanbaatar and on building a bridge of Yaarmag and repairing the old bridge.

In order to co-perform a feasibility study of the “Shivee Ovoo” project, Mongolia’s Ministry of Energy and China’s National Electricity Delivery Network Corporation signed a contract. A memorandum was inked between the Mongolian General Authority for Specialized Inspection and China’s Authority of Quality Monitoring and Quarantine on the cooperation in ensuring safety of foods to be supplied to Mongolia as well as mutton, beef and goat meat to be exported to China from Mongolia.

Moreover, the countries signed an agreement on civil airplanes search and regulating rescue operations between Mongolia’s Civil Aviation Authority and China’s Authority of Civil Aviation; and a cooperation agreement between the Mongolian Bank of Trade and Development and the China Development Bank.
