PM about realization of works decided at “Hour for solutions” meetings

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Since its first run on February 17 of 2015, the “Hour for solutions” weekly meeting, organized by the Premier, has been held 40 times until today, having resolved some 100 matters.

The very first meeting discussed and then tackled issues of reducing petroleum consumption in big-sized vehicles of Ministries, agencies and state-run institutions, and of stopping a purchase of cars costing above 80 million Togrog. As a result, 20.8 billion Togrog was saved in 2015, and some 100 cars have been given to the General Police Department, General Authority for Border Protection, General Authority for Implementing Court Decisions, to their units in provinces, a Deputy Head of the Cabinet Secretariat for Government G.Ganbold told the PM Wednesday.

At the weekly meeting, the Premier Ch.Saikhanbileg received information from S.Bayartsogt, a head of the Cabinet Secretariat, and G.Ganbold, about a realization of works done that had been considered at weekly meetings. One of the biggest actions has become an establishment of a unified center of state services at the “Dunjingarav” commercial center, which renders 250 types of services. This center recently has added 92 services from 12 organizations, the Cabinet Secretariat authorities said.

The “Chingis Khaan” international airport has got a transit hall, in addition, the Mongolian Airlines (MIAT) has added into its fleet new Boeings 767 300 ER and 737 800, increasing thus direct flights to Frankfurt, Singapore, to Chinese Manchuria, Hailaar and Erlian, they said.

Other achievements are a petroleum prices and electricity and the Internet service tariffs reduction in localities, reforms in the credit interest of the State Bank for herders and in a mortgage loan interest, the authorities said.

April awaits a launch of flights to the western provinces by Boeing airplanes, a connection of aimags to electricity lines, and a paying back the VAT's two-percent to consumers.

After the report, the Premier highly spoke the implementation of the works the weekly meetings had agreed on, and obliged all to be fruitful and dynamic in ongoing works.

This Wednesday's meeting, the 40th one, was attended by some 50 people who all received relevant obligations.
