Salaries of state-owned companies’ leaders to be cut

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Salary sizes of state-run and parastatal companies’ authorities will be reduced by 30-60% in accordance with a cabinet decision made on Wednesday.

By the decision, the salary of MNT 5-10 million will be cut by 30%, MNT 10-30 million--by 50%, and above MNT 30 million--by 60%. In addition, pending expenses for wage, incentives, domestic and foreign visits and purchasing facilities will be taken back to the state budget.

Related officials were obliged to reform salaries of the state-owned and parastatal companies’ leaders at a board level.
