Hotel industry in statistics
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In first half of this year, a survey on hotel industry involved 324 enterprisers. Revenues of these enterprisers reached MNT 58.3 billion which increased by MNT 8.7 billion or 17.6% against the previous year.
In the period, average income of per room reached MNT 8.4 million which increased by MNT 699.0 thousand or 9.0% against the previous year.
71.6 per cent of hotel clients were Mongolians, and 28.4% of them were foreign citizens. In the first half of 2016, each hotel received about 725 clients, and each guest stayed in hotels approximately 1.2 days.
