Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Friday, Hakuho M.Davaajargal, a professional sumo wrestler of Mongolia and all-time record holder, officially announced that he will miss this year’s aki basho (autumn tournament) of the highest division of professional sumo due to an injury.

He got an injury on his big toe of right leg during the tournament of July. Meantime, another injury on his left knee worsened when he competed in a round tournament of August, so he was recommended by doctors to miss the September tournament.

This is his first sitting on audience since he got the yokozuna title (the highest title of professional sumo) in 2007. The 2016 autumn tournament will start on September 11 in Tokyo.
