Minister D.Oyunkhorol receives delegates of Cox&King Tour Company

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Environment and Tourism is pursuing a policy to diversify Mongolia's mining-dependent economy and to bring tourism sector into the world standard. In this regard, D.Oyunkhorol, Minister of Environment and Tourism received delegates led by Sandeep Dayal, Head of Sales Business Development and Special Projects of the Cox & King Tour Company.

Founded in 1758, the company is the first tour operator in the world. Today the company has branches in many countries, including the UK, the US, Australia and Japan and  offers various domestic and international travel and deals in India.

At the meeting, Minister D.Oyunkhorol said that the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia is planning to cooperate with the Embassy of India in Ulaanbaatar to the development of tourism sector. "We discussed with the Embassy about an issue of launching direct flight between Mongolia and India".

She continued that relevant organizations will work to connect tourism companies of Mongolia and India. The Minister also pointed out the important role of the Cox & King Company, with decades of experience in tourism industry, in attracting Indian tourists to Mongolia and expressed her willingness to cooperate with the company.
