Members of Standing Committee meet Vietnamese delegates

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 6, D.Tsogtbaatar and N.Oyundari, members of Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy met with a visiting-Vietnamese delegation led by Vo Chong Viet, member of the National Assembly of Vietnam and Chair of Security and Defense of Vietnam, to exchange views on bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Vietnam.

Member of Parliament D.Tsogtbaatar mentioned that the two countries' relations and cooperation have a long and said “During the years of war, people of Mongolia had rendered their great assistance to the Vietnamese people, strengthening the friendly relations, which we need to maintain and intensify further in the future”.

Moreover, Mr. D.Tsogtbaatar pointed out the importance of strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations and expressed his gratitude for the developing cooperation between Parliamentary and standing committee friendship groups between Mongolia and Vietnam.  "Vietnamese support will be appreciated to conduct meeting with entrepreneurs of the two countries and to increase their opportunities to cooperate.  

Underlining that the people of Vietnam always grateful for Mongolians for their support and assistance, Mr. Vo Chong Viet said “Mongolia has a huge natural resource and an opportunity to move forward its development based on this and while seeking development, Mongolia needs to protect its natural environment. Mongolia and Vietnam have a potential to broaden bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Recently, Vietnam has launched a legal reform with a view to improve investment environment". He then expressed readiness to pay attention to increase possibilities of cooperation between business people of Mongolia and Vietnam.
