Nalaikh district signs cooperation agreement with Goulburn city
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by Governor of Nalaikh district Ch.Radnaabazar paid visit to Australia at the invitation of Goulburn city Mayor Bob Kirk from February 25 to March 2.
Mr. Paul Myler, Assistant Secretary of the North East Asia Branch of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, received the delegation and the sides exchanged information on bilateral cooperation.
During their visit to Goulburn city in the state of New South Wales, delegates met and exchanged views on cooperation with Mayor of Goulburn Bob Kirk, General Manager Mr. Warwick Bennet and Head of the Planning Department of the Council Mr. Scott Martin. Governor Ch.Radnaabazar and Mayor Kirk signed the Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation between Nalaikh District and Goulburn City on 27 February. By concluding the agreement, the sides agree to develop cooperation in education, culture, tourism and trade fields. Also, delegates visited the Visitor Information Center of Goulburn as well as cattle and crop farms of the region.
Goulburn, New South Wales was established in 1863. It is a historic city with a growing agriculture industry and a home to more than 30 thousand people. Goulburn has friendship city relations with cities from the United States, Japan, Timor Leste and Uganda.
