Foreign Minister’s official visit to Singapore begins

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar is paying an official visit to the Republic of Singapore on June 6-7 at the invitation of his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan.
This is the first visit of Foreign Minister of Mongolia to Singapore since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations in 1970. On the first day of the visit, Foreign Minister will hold official talks with Minister Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan and exchange views on wide range of issues including bilateral relations, trade, economy, regional and multilateral cooperation.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar will be a guest at the Asia First live programme by Channel News Asia and visit the National Research Foundation at the Prime Minister’s Office.
On the second day of his visit, the Foreign Minister will pay courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Heng Swee Keat and attend the ‘Mongolia-Singapore Business Dialogue’ as well. He will also hold consultative meeting with the Ambassadors of Mongolia to the Southeast Asian countries.
