Mongolia-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission meeting held in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 5th meeting of Intergovernmental Commission between Mongolia and the Republic of Belarus on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation was held in Ulaanbaatar on June 27-28. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Ch.Ulaan and Minister of Industry of Belarus Pavel Utyupin.

Representatives of the two working groups co-developed the meeting protocol on June 27, agreeing on the implementation of further joint projects. The Belarusian side gave a great importance to the commission meeting. Delegates of the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of state-owned companies of Belarus attended the meeting.


In addition to the projects to be implemented under the Intergovernmental Agreement on an export loan, the parties emphasized the potential for expanding and developing mutually beneficial economic cooperation in various fields including food, light industry, road transportation, mining, construction, environment and tourism. During the meeting, the sides signed the Protocol to restore traditional cooperation in education, culture, science and technology and enrich it with new content. 


The parties also signed the Roadmap for the development of Mongolia-Belarus cooperation in 2019-2021 according to the agreements of the Presidents of the two countries made at the meeting held during the SCO Qingdao summit.
