Memory athletes prevail in Asia Championship 2019

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s 16 athletes of memory sports successfully competed in Asia Championships winning 67 medals out of 90 (21 gold, 24 silver and 22 bronze).


133 athletes of 13 countries competed in the tournament which held on October 5-6 in Indonesia. The Mongolian team has been placed first by the sum of scores, followed by China and Indonesia.


Our athletes also renewed four world records during the tournament. Specifically, in the juniors’ '30-minute binary numbers' category, Sh.Naranbat memorized 3555 numbers, U.Solongo 4809 numbers in teens category, E.Lhagvadulam memorized 978 cards in 'random cards' category and E.Lhagvadulam memorized 1612 numbers in 'random numbers' category respectively.


The athletes of Mongolian Intellectual Academy have successfully participated in their 55th international competition, setting new records and continuously increasing the number of medals which is now 1004.
