Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Mongolia Zvi
Heifetz on October 28 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sides exchanged views on intergovernmental
ties, regional and international relations.
Confirming that Minister D.Tsogtbaatar is invited to pay a visit to Israel, Ambassador Zvi Heifetz noted that he would work to intensify bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and Israel. Moreover, he expressed his willingness to establish a memorandum of cooperation in education, culture and humanitarian sectors.
Israeli side informed that they are planning to organize consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Israel and Mongolia in Israel in 2020.
Within the framework of bilateral cooperation in agriculture sector, 36 students of Mongolian State University of Agriculture were granted “Agrostudies” scholarship in 2018-2019 and the programme will continue.
