Second stage of Project for Enhancement of the Fair Competition Environment begins

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has collaborated with the Authority of Fair Competition and Consumer Protection (AFCCP)  in upskilling state inspectors of the authority and renewing legal environment for fair competition in Mongolia. The works were done at the first stage of the project for Enhancement of Fair Competition Environment in Mongolia.


Chairman of the AFCCP B.Lkhagva and the Director of the JICA Mongolia Tamura Eriko signed a cooperation document  today, on November 14. At the second stage of the project, amendments to regulations and rules of procedure will be developed in  compliance with the revised Law on Competition.




Promotion of the law and regulations to the public will be conducted in addition to capacity building measures of the staff. 


The first stage of the project was implemented in 2015-2018 whereas the second stage of the project which is starting today, will run in 2020-2022.
