World’s leading trade publisher ‘Penguin’ publishes a book about President of Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. One of the world’s leading trade publisher, Penguin has published the book, ‘Battulga: Up Close and Personal’, about President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga. Published in October, it is their first book about a president currently in office. In other words – despite publishing many books about the biography and memoir about political figures as well as the books they have written themselves, the company had yet to publish a book about a president that was still in office.
In 2019, author, columnist D.Turmunkh (Turu Khan) signed an agreement with Penguin Random House to publish and sell two of his books worldwide. While the book, ‘Battulga: Up Close and Personal’ (or ‘The Battulga I Know’ in Mongolian) has been published this year, another book - a novel-essay named ‘Sankara’ will also be published in 2021.
The latest book published by Penguin about a political figure was the book, ‘A Promised Land’, by former US President Barack Obama.
