Introductory meeting held with some cabinet members of Laos

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On February 7, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Laos People’s Democratic Republic J.Byambasuren held an introductory meeting with Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos Suanesavanh Vignaket.
The meeting touched on expanding friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, cooperation in the field of culture and tourism, and the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Laos.
On the following day, the Ambassador met with Minister of National Defense of Laos General Chansamone Chanyalath and discussed bilateral relations and cooperation, especially in the sphere of defense.
Minister Chansamon Chanyaalat expressed his willingness to revive relations and cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of the two countries and said that a draft memorandum of cooperation between the Ministries will be developed and introduced in the near future.
