Newly-appointed U.S. Ambassador presents his copy of credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B.Munkhjin today received Ambassador-designate of the United States to Mongolia Richard Buangan.
During the meeting, the Ambassador-designate expressed delight with his appointment and presented a copy of his Letter of Credence to the Deputy Foreign Minister.
While underscoring that Mongolia attaches great importance to its relations with the United States, Mongolia’s key “third neighbor” and Strategic Partner, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed his pleasure to be working with the Ambassador for the further expansion of Mongolia-U.S. relations and cooperation.
The Ambassador-designate said that the United States is
proud to be Mongolia’s important “third neighbor” while expressing his
commitment to further strengthening the Strategic Partnership.
