Mongolia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Groups hold virtual meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 9, members of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups in the State Great Hural of Mongolia and the General Congress of the United Mexican States held a virtual meeting.


During the virtual meeting, it was announced that a Mongolia-Mexico Friendship group had been newly established in the General Congress of the United Mexican States.


T. Dorjkhand, Chair of the Mongolia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group in the State Great Hural of Mongolia, noted that the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the United Mexican States have been actively developed, and certain progress has been made in the fields of education, culture, art, sports, sports, and disaster risk reduction. He also stressed the importance of further expanding economic and interparliamentary cooperation.


Expressing a willingness to deepen cooperation with the State Great Khural of Mongolia, Chair of the Mongolia-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group in the General Congress of the United Mexican States Manuel Guillermo Chapman Moreno expressed his interest in exchanging mutual experience and information in the field of legislation, as well as developing cooperation in trade, economy, and culture between the two countries.



Underscoring that this year marks the 47th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Mexico, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Mexico U. Batbayar expressed that he will make efforts to deepen the development of relations and cooperation between the two countries, including the expansion of cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, agriculture, tourism, culture, and education.


He also said that he will provide all-round support to expand and intensify the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and increase the frequency of reciprocal visits between the speakers and members of the parliament.
