15700 Runners Registered for the Ulaanbaatar Marathon 2024

Ulaanbaatar, May 21,2024 /MONTSAME/. Registration for the international Ulaanbaatar Marathon 2024 is closed now.
For the last two months, 15700 runners have been registered,
marking an increase of 3000 runners compared to 12700 runners in 2023.
This year, most runners are registered in the 5 km marathon. A 21 km distance run will have 1014 participants which is a double-fold increase over the previous year’s, while a family marathon will have 1400 runners and a 1.5 km distance marathon for citizens with special needs will have 39 runners.
Moreover, 10, 21, and 42 km distance marathons will have more runners
than in 2023. Specifically, 1866 runners are registered in the 10 km
distance, 917 runners in the 21 km distance, and 180 runners in the 42 km
distance this year, while in 2023, 1368 runners took part in the 10 km
distance, 542 runners in the 21 km distance, and 140 runners in the 42 km
distance were registered respectfully.
