Ulaanbaatar, January 26, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian craft-making company “Duut Urlan” opened its exhibition titled “Uv Teesen Une Tsene” (Values Bearing Heritage) on January 26 at the exhibition hall of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth. The exhibition features over 50 artworks by master craftsmen.
Director of Duut Urlan LLC, Bayarkhuyag D., noted, “The
exhibition primarily showcases newly created works from 2025. Through our works,
we want to express the love and
compassion of Mongolian mothers. A mother’s love is an eternal theme. Inspired by
this theme, we created a new design of a national-style candle holder
symbolizing fire and depicting the caring gaze of a mother nursing her child”.
He is also introducing a cup, which symbolizes the Year of
the Fire Horse, incorporating imagery of a winged horse, fire, and the
historical meaning of horse hooves. In addition, new works such as “White Old
Man Tserendug,” representing the Mongolian tradition of revering and
worshipping land, water, and nature spirits, are on display.
He emphasized, “Artists bear a responsibility to enlighten
society. Through the artworks on display, the exhibition aims to enlighten and
raise awareness among the public, while promoting the values of mutual love and
respect.”
The company also produces traditional Mongolian tsatsal
(a special wooden spoon to sprinkle fresh milk into the air as a ritual
offering) and is actively promoting tsatsal culture among the public.
The exhibition, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports,
Tourism, and Youth, will run until February 17, 2026
