Ulaanbaatar Spring Festival to Kick Off Tomorrow

Ulaanbaatar, March 31, 2026 /MONTSAME/. A series of events for the Ulaanbaatar Spring Festival will begin tomorrow at Sukhbaatar Square.
On opening day, activities will include fencing demonstrations, traditional knucklebone shooting, and a cycling event. Throughout April, the program will feature events such as “UB Draughts-2026,” a sports fan competition, arts “Playtime pre-event,” and open house days hosted by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Urban Development, Construction and Housing, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs. There will also be a food festival, circus performances, and table tennis promotion activities.
In May,
planned events include a sports car exhibition, auto and motorcycle parades,
and the “Khangarid” sports day. Additionally, several ministries—including
Culture, Environment, Economy, Education, Family and Social Welfare, and Road
and Transport—will hold open house events. Major highlights will also include
the Ulaanbaatar Marathon, a street dance battle,
and the “Book Festival 2026.”
