Flower wreaths laid at S.Zorig’s statue
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Many wreaths were laid at the statue to the S.Zorig, one of the leaders of the 1990's democratic revolution, on October 2 in Ulaanbaatar.
The ceremony gathered the President Ts.Elbegdorj, the Chairman of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold and the Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg. Present were also Zorig’s family, relatives, fellow politicians and friends, along with ordinary citizens.
Seventeen years ago, around 10 pm on October 2, then-parliament member and the Minister of infrastructure S.Zorig was severely assassinated. The case remains unsolved.
